Lab automation · bioengineering
Bringing biology and engineering closer together.
I'm Dr. Camillo Moschner — a bioengineer and core contributor to PyLabRobot. I build lab automation, and I openly teach how automation and biological engineering actually work.
What I'm building
Core contributor to PyLabRobot
PyLabRobot is the open-source, hardware-agnostic SDK for lab automation. As one of its core developers, I've made 100+ merged contributions, mostly to the Hamilton STAR backend — 96-head pipetting, the iSWAP robotic arm, liquid-level detection and firmware integration.
The Atlas
A structured place to learn
I write about automation, biological engineering and the software behind them — filed by topic into the Atlas, so it reads like a resource, not a feed.
